Education: I studied at Berklee College of Music - Muscians Institute - Orange Coast College - ( Spudd) Lyle Murphy's "Equal Interval System".
Performance Experience: I have Played professionally for over 40 years both Bass and Guitar. Traveled the world with such artisit as Frank Gambale and 6 time Grammy winner Daniel Ho
Teaching Experience: I have a lot of experience teaching all kinds of classes. I taught at Los Angeles College of Music for 26 years. Taught such classes as Music Theory, Vocal Sight Singing, Jazz History, Bass Rhythm Sudies 1&2 and Jazz Bass classes.
Teaching Philosophy: My goal in teaching has always been to make students not just good players , but to make them great musicians regardless of their instrument. It is also important to give them the skills they will need to be succesful in life no matter what career they choose. I also want them to experience the joy that music can bring, not only to us but to those around us. It is something that we can carry through our entire life.
