About Steven Jenkins

Steven is a native of Atlanta, Georgia.  He earned his bachelor and master degrees in music performance with a proficiency in voice, while also studying guitar and the upright bass.  After earning his masters degree, he taught at Pensacola Christian College and Tennessee Temple University.  He has taught privately as well.

He has been involved in leading worship in the local church since he was in high school, and has served as pastor of worship at various churches throughout the country.  He currently plays lead electric guitar at his church, but is equally at home playing acoustic or bass guitar.  As a vocalist, Steven is classically trained, and has experience on the operatic stage, as well as in contemporary vocal settings.  His desire is to take vocal students where they want to go.

Steven teaches from a positive attitude, believing every student has the ability to progress and improve.
