About Steven Thompson

Steve has his BA in Music Education from Shepherd University and maintained a Virginia Teaching License for 31 years. He also has his Orff Schulwerk Certificate Level I from George Mason and Radford Universities. He is a retired public school music teacher of 31 years and has also taught with Music & Arts for over 30 years.

Steve has performed with numerous ensembles in the area, including the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra and the Manassas Symphony Orchestra. He also has choral piano accompanist experience at middle and high school level and has accompanied students for Governors School and Solo and Ensemble. Steve is also a church musician on both flute and piano.
