      Performance Experience: Stuart was a performer with the OWU Brass Quintet (1971-75), the Clarion Brass (1976-78), and manager and trombonist for The Well-Tempered Brass, comprised of graduate students of the Eastman School of Music from 1980-1983. He performed with the Eastman Trombone Choir, as principal trombonist with various school orchestras, principal trombonist with the Holyoke Symphony Orchestra, with the Farmington Symphony Orchestra.
      Teaching Experience: Scott teaches at Music and Arts, Burlington, Vermont teaching Trombone, Trumpet, Piano, Voice. From the young to the old! 49 years of experience teaching music beginners to advanced players.

      Scott teaches at Music and Arts, Burlington, Vermont teaching Trombone, Trumpet, Piano, Voice. From the young to the old! 49 years of experience teaching music beginners to advanced players; His interest in the Psychology of Music gives him a unique perspective for helping others learn how to learn about music and how to make music making work for you. His students typically play in several ensembles: School Orchestra, Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, pit orchestra, chamber, District Festival, All State, the Vermont Youth Orchestra, All New England, jazz ensemble. They tend to be wonderfully creative.
