About Ms. Sue

Susan “Ms. Sue” Goldsmith is a piano teacher who works with Premier beginner through Level 6 advanced students in a supportive and encouraging environment. Her lessons are carefully tailored to each student’s abilities and goals, blending structured weekly assignments with theory, performance pieces, and creative challenges such as sight reading, transposing, and songwriting. Ms. Sue believes students grow best when they are both challenged and having fun, helping them build confidence while developing strong musical foundations and independence at the piano. Whether preparing for school orchestra support, auditions, scholarships, recitals, or simply playing for enjoyment, students receive thoughtful and personalized guidance. Ms. Sue has over 50 years of piano experience, 10 years of teaching experience, and has performed extensively as a church pianist and band musician.
