Get to know Suzanne Wolvin
Suzanne studied music at Oberlin College and the University of Oregon, and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Master of Music Education at Old Dominion University. Suzanne was an adjunct professor of music (applied voice, music history, appreciation, theory and sight singing) at Tidewater Community College for 5 years. She has taught piano and voice privately over the course of 3 decades to all ages, and has been music director at two local churches—one liturgical, the other contemporary. Suzanne sings soprano with the Virginia Symphony Chorus, and has studied with Katherine Lakoski and Robynne Redmon. She specializes in piano, excellence in vocal technique, classical training, dealing with performance anxiety, competition/audition preparation, and has a passion for music history.
