Performance Experience: 20 years as a freelance musician. Currently performs with Bella Venti woodwind quintet and the Fayetteville Symphonic band.
Teaching Experience: 20 years of studio teaching and 16 years of public school teaching.
Teaching Philosophy: Syreeta is deeply motivated and committed to teaching. Filled with compassion and empathy towards her students. An advocate for the importance of Music Education. Possess an energetic, passionate, and imaginative style: performance characterized as supportive and hard working.
Get to know Syreeta
Syreeta Jackson is a clarinetist from Fayetteville, North Carolina. She holds a Bachelor's of Music Education Degree from UNC-Pembroke where she also received her Master of Arts in Music Education in 2015. Ms. Jackson performs with The Fayetteville Symphonic Band, she is the clarinetist of the woodwind quintet Bella Venti and she also does freelance work throughout North and South Carolina. Currently, Ms. Jackson teaches elementary music within the Cumberland County School System.
