About Theodore Burgh

Dr. Theodore Burgh is a woodwind, piano, and bass guitar teacher who creates lessons that balance strong technique with an enjoyable and engaging learning experience. He teaches beginner to advanced flute, saxophone, and clarinet, as well as beginner to intermediate piano and bass guitar. His instruction covers a wide variety of musical styles, improvisation, music reading, and music theory, helping students become well-rounded musicians. Dr. Burgh believes every student learns differently and tailors lessons to each individual’s strengths, goals, and interests while making learning both challenging and fun. With over 30 years of teaching and performance experience and a degree in Music with an emphasis in Jazz Studies, he helps students achieve goals ranging from personal enjoyment to advanced musical development.
