Get to know Thomas Rogers
Thomas "Tiger" Jefferson Rogers Jr. was born on April 4th, 1982. His father is the late Thomas Jefferson Rogers Sr. and mother, Mary Louise Rogers. As a child, Tiger had a unique fascination with art and music. Beginning in his sixth grade year at Whitten Middle School, his hardworking father bought him a brand new Yamaha alto saxophone for beginner's band. Tiger soon began to play at his local church, Faith Community Fellowship Church, where he learned to create horn parts and play by ear while being trained at Whitten Middle School by Wayne Miller, oboe player, of the Mississippi Symphony. Tiger has always recognized the importance of music in the world, as well as the Christian world. His music is his life. His life is his ministry. His ministry is healing a hurt world through the power of music.
