About Victor Pullen

Mr. Victor Pullen attended Winthrop University for music education and music composition under Dr Mark Lewis starting in 2006. Mr. Pullen began composing for the Powdersville High School Patriot Band in 2020 and became the assistant director for the marching band in 2021. The band has gone on to win the bronze medal at the SCBDA 3A State Marching Championships for the past three years and most recently won the silver medal during the 2025 season. Mr. Pullen also composes for the concert band and small ensembles receiving multiple superior ratings at the SC Solo and Ensemble festival. Mr. Pullen teaches woodwinds/brass in the Greenville area and enjoys helping students become more confident with performing on their principal instruments along with sight reading and music theory.
