Atlanta area for over 30 years playing jazz, blues and rock guitar.
Teaching Experience: Started teaching guitar in
1996 and has taught guitar and violin at Music and Arts since 2012.
Teaching Philosophy: My goal is for students to increase their understanding of music and enjoy playing violin and guitar. I
teach each person differently assessing their abilities and goals. One of the greatest
accomplishments for a student is to know how to practice and be able to play with confidence on
their own.
Get to know Charles Loehle
Charles is a native of Atlanta and received his Masters degree in Jazz Guitar and a Teaching Certificate in Music Education from Georgia State University. During his music education studies he discovered a love of teaching violin and taught orchestra and guitar classes at North Gwinnett Middle School and Alpharetta High School. He has performed extensively in the Atlanta area for over 30 years playing jazz, blues and rock guitar. He started teaching guitar in 1996 and has taught guitar and violin at Music and Arts since 2012.
