About Xavier Goines

Xavier Goines is a brass, voice, and composition teacher who works with students from beginner to advanced levels, teaching trumpet, French horn, mellophone, tenor voice, and music composition. His lessons combine structured skill development with personalized instruction, helping students build confidence through carefully selected repertoire, clear goal-setting, and immediate application of new concepts. Xavier teaches music theory, songwriting, scoring, improvisation, sightreading, and a wide range of styles including jazz, classical, R&B, popular music, and video game music. He believes music is a powerful storytelling medium and helps students develop both technical skills and artistic expression. Xavier has operated a private lesson studio for six years and has performed and presented at conferences and musical events throughout the United States and internationally.
