      Performance Experience: Mr. Gaines is a decorated military musician of the United States Army Bands. SGT Gaines performed, led and conducted marching bands, concert bands, jazz ensembles, woodwind quintets, throughout the Asian-Pacific. He has performed as principal clarinetist of Beijing International Chamber Orchestra and Shanghai International Choral League, and Beijing Brass and Japan Jazz Band, as well as performing in art centers, concert halls, schools, and worldly embassies.
      Teaching Experience: In his educational roles he has taught music, drama, and English in Tokyo, Japan. In China, Mr. Gaines has educated International Schools in Beijing and Shanghai. Since 2001 he has continually taught as clarinet & woodwind specialist instructor of rudimentary to advanced musical knowledge of various ages and levels to students internationally to perform on instruments (clarinet, saxophone, flute and oboe) proficiently.
      Teaching Philosophy: As a musical student it is essential to learn properly instrument basics, musicality and concert etiquette. Becoming an accomplished musician is a road that is without a doubt a rewarding experience. As a teacher I strive for students to understand, dedication, discipline, patience, and the will to create musically is rewarding to each student and parent. In my lessons I will build students excitement in learning about music. This is what keeps my profession something I respect and treasure.

      Mr. Adrienne Gaines is a dynamic and dedicated music professional equally comfortable in the teaching studio as well as on the concert stage. He earned a bachelor’s in Music Clarinet Performance with Music Education emphasis from Shenandoah Conservatory of Music. He has received Master of Music Business and Technology certification from Berklee College of Music.
