About Adrien Gaines

Adrien Gaines is a woodwind teacher who works with beginner to advanced clarinet and saxophone students, as well as beginner to intermediate flute and oboe students. His lessons combine physical warm-ups, technical development, sight-reading, scales, and repertoire with engaging music that keeps students motivated and excited to learn. Adrien emphasizes strong fundamentals, musicianship, discipline, and performance skills while fostering creativity and confidence in every student. Whether preparing for recitals, school ensembles, community orchestras, or simply playing for enjoyment, students receive personalized guidance designed to help them succeed. Adrien is a decorated former United States Army Bands musician and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Clarinet Performance with a Music Education emphasis from Shenandoah Conservatory and a Master of Music Business and Technology certification from Berklee College of Music.
