      Get to know Alyxia Bonnett

      Alyxia Bonnett is a versatile music educator with a strong background in woodwinds and piano. She teaches Bb, A, Eb, and Bass Clarinet; as well as Alto and Tenor Saxophone, and beginner Piano. Alyxia holds a Master's in Music Education from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor's in Music Education from the University of Western Ontario. Her teaching emphasizes individual growth, musical expression, and a strong technical foundation. With a passion for jazz, she incorporates improvisation and contemporary techniques into her lessons. Alyxia has performed in jazz ensembles, chamber groups, orchestras, and featured as a soloist in several notable performances. She is dedicated to helping students develop both their skills and confidence as musicians.
