About Kimi Rendahl

Hi there, I'm Kimi! I was born in California, raised in Arizona, and received my Master’s degree in Tennessee. I have been playing and performing on violin and viola since 2003. I believe the best performances are those shared with others, whether they be in the circus, the concert hall, or on live television.

My teacher training in Suzuki pedagogy showed me the transformative power of music, and that truly anyone can be taught to play an instrument. I like to think that my greatest strength as a teacher is my ability to find a method that makes sense to each student.

In my spare time, I enjoy taking hikes and hanging out with my three cats. I am excited to be living in the Las Vegas area after relocating from Nashville, and I can't wait to teach you how to play!
