About Caitlin Hartig

Caitlin Hartig teaches beginner to advanced violin, viola, and piano, helping students develop relaxed, efficient, and safe playing technique while enjoying the music they love. Her lessons combine posture, healthy body movement, and technical exercises with music theory, notation, rhythm, scales, sight-reading, and performance skills. Caitlin welcomes all genres and believes a passion-based approach helps students build confidence and lasting musicianship while working toward their individual goals, including auditions and performances. Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Musical Arts in Viola Performance from Penn State University, with piano as her secondary instrument, and has 10 years of teaching experience.
