As we approach the incoming school season, I am here to assure you that we are still available for all of your needs. Because this year is a little different, we have a new and smoother process that will help get your child started for the school year.
We are now moving to paperless/online rental! It is an easier and faster way for you to get your rental! The best part? You can complete it sitting at home on your laptop or even on your phone! There are two ways to get started:
1) You can go to www.musicarts.com/rentals. Once you click on the link, it will take you to our online rental page. From there, it will prompt you to select the grade your child will be in for the incoming school year. It will also ask whether the rental is for a public school, private school, or personal use. You can type the zip code or the school's name on the search box and it will take you to the next prompt where you can find the school. The process is simple and self explanatory as well as provide you a break down of what you are paying. Once you are done with the rental, you can select "Pick Up In Store" (make sure you select the Wayne store). You can set a need by date or pick it up right away. You can also have the rental shipped to your home which is the safest option.
Warning: If you select the "Shipped to Home", there will be a two week wait but we will try our best to have it sent to your home as soon as possible.
2) You can text (844) 872-0023 and text 7604RENT. You will receive a quick text which will take you straight to the Music and Arts online rental page. It will be the same process as mentioned previously.
NOTE: Due to our limited occupancy, if you would like to pick up the rental same day, please wait for an associate call you. They will let you know that your rental is ready for pick-up.
We are still offering curbside service if you wish not to come into the store. We just ask that you park in front of the store with your hazard lights on and give the store a call. An associate will ask for the make and model of your car. If you are picking up an online rental, please bring the confirmation email as well as an ID.
We are still able to assist you with the rental in store should you wish not to do it online. Because we have a limited occupancy, please only send ONE parent or guardian in to the store. When you come into the store, please bring a VALID US-issued ID (Driver's License) and a VALID credit card that matches the name on the ID. An associate will help you fill out the rental and get everything you need!
I know that with COVID, many of you are worried about the sanitation of the instruments. As a store, we cannot guarantee that you will receive a new instrument for your rental. It is a first come, first serve basis and upon availability. However, ALL of our instruments have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized in preparation for the next rental. For our woodwind and brass instruments, it comes with a new mouthpiece. We will do what we can to accommodate but is is not something that can be guaranteed.
