About Adam

A Teaneck native, Adam is an active performer and teacher in the tri state area.  He began playing the clarinet at eight years old and holds a Bachelor of Music degree from University of Maryland as well as a Master of Music from Manhattan School of Music where he was a student of NY Philharmonic clarinetist Mark Nuccio. Adam recently won the position of second clarinetist with the Hudson Valley Philharmonic, and performs regularly with the Garden State Philharmonic, NJ Verismo Opera, New Rochelle Opera, and Ensemble 212. He has also participated as a member of the National Repertory Orchestra, and as a Kaplan Fellow at the Bowdoin International Music Festival. 

Adam is currently accepting students of all ages and abilities. He offers his students a comprehensive lesson plan that is tailored to their ability and goals.  Subjects covered include Clarinet fundamentals, technique and standard repertoire, establishing good practice habits, ensemble playing (duets), and overcoming performance anxiety. Adam also has extensive audition experience and includes audition preparation techniques for students taking regional band, all state band, or music school auditions.
