About Alexandra Dadon
Alexandra M. Dadon graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance and a Musical Theater minor. She continued her studies at MSU and completed the MAT program (Master of Arts in Teaching, Instrumental).
Alex is both a passionate educator and performer. She primarily is a violinist but also doubles on viola, sings across multiple genres, and specializes in West African percussion. A new Toms River resident from Fort Lee, she is currently teaching general music, strings, chorus, and drama at South Toms River Elementary School (Go Hawks!) She is also the new conductor of the Garden State Youth Symphony Orchestra.
Alex has been teaching privately for nearly 10 years and teaches violin, viola, beginner cello and piano. She is easygoing and encouraging to her students, and focuses on teaching with efficiency and fun. She loves Japanese food, traveling, and video games.
