Anthony started his musical journey in high school as a self-taught rock guitarist. After joining a band and having many performances in the Philadelphia area, he decided to start taking lessons to learn how to read music and later enrolled in music school at West Chester University. At WCU he studied classical guitar and music education, and he continued to compose and perform. One of his compositions was premiered at WCU and later published by SoundBoard Magazine. Next Anthony headed to Baltimore to become a teacher for Baltimore County Public Schools and study classical guitar at Peabody. Anthony now holds a Master’s Degree in Guitar Performance from Peabody and teaches Vocal Music K-5 full time at an elementary school in Towson. While at Peabody Anthony also studied privately with Ana Vidovic and performed in masterclasses for Ana Vidovic and Manuel Barrueco. Anthony has been a public school music teacher for over 14 years now and has been teaching guitar for over 16 years. Anthony has two young children of his own, who he enjoys taking to Cub Scouts, various nature activities, and ice hockey.
