About Tony

Tony Buzzella has over 23 years of professional drumming experience in the music industry both nationally and internationally. Not only has he opened for Molly Hatchet, the Doobie Brothers, and James Brown, but he has performed multiple times in the Jozenji Street Jazz Festival in Sendai, Japan. He has also played for Grammy winner Sandi Patty.

            Tony graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Management while continuing private instruction under Dr. John Wooten. He is a recipient of the 2012 Colonel Finley R. Hamilton Outstanding Military Musician Award. He has continued to perform at countless private events all over the world and throughout the United States. Currently, he is a sub for the Lee County Community Orchestra and performs with the Barry Brown Band.

            Tony has been teaching for over 18 years and is available to teach drum set and marching percussion, as well as orchestral percussion. He begins teaching students once they reach the age of seven.   His specialties include: rock, soul, jazz, funk, and more.
