Aslan grew up in a performing arts family and began studying piano and close up magic at an early age. At 14, he began his formal voice training with William Seale at the College-Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati, Ohio. By 20, he was studying with renowned voice teacher Andrew White (teacher of Metropolitan Opera legend Sherill Milnes). Following, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music Education with a minor in Public Speaking in 1998. During his undergraduate years, he won several singing competitions and sang with the Cincinnati Opera in productions of Otello, The Flying Dutchman, and Rigoletto.
Aslan has over ten years of teaching experience and has worked with hundreds of students, from beginner to advanced. He brings a rare combination of patience, creativity and enthusiasm that keeps students engaged and excited about their next lesson!
