Christina Dragoo began her musical studies at the age of 2 when she begged her parents for a violin. Eventually she traded violin for voice, earning her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at Lawrence University and attending the Bel Canto Institute in Florence, Italy.
In addition to performing with opera companies, Christina has also sung at The Viper Room, the Renaissance Fair, in Los Angeles Fashion Week, and at the Florence International Music Festival.
Some of her favorite opera roles include debuting the role of Della in the world premier of Jonathan Price's The Gift of the Magi, playing Gretel in Humperdink's Hansel and Gretel and touring Donna Anna from Mozart's Don Giovanni with several companies throughout Southern California. Christina has appeared in numerous productions of Mozart's Magic Flute variously as Pamina, Papagena, and the Queen of the Night. Last year, she sang Nanetta from Verdi's Falstaff.
