About Me

Hello ladies and gentleman. My name is Dustin, and I've been with Music & Arts since August of 2011. I started as a part-timer, then made my way up to Store Manager.

I started my musical endeavors with the guitar at the age of 6. Since then I have been hooked. After years of lessons, I took up the cello when I was 12. I also dabble with the drums, ukulele, classical guitar, and more recently, the 7 string guitar.

I love to play along with my favorite songs, but also enjoy jamming with others, and writing/recording my own songs. I also enjoy nearly every style of music, but I have a particular love for Progressive Metal.

I have extensive knowledge in Guitars (Electric and Acoustic), Amps (Tube, Solid State, PA Systems. ETC...), Pianos (Digital and Keyboards) Band and Orchestra Instruments (Student, Intermediate, and Step-Up), Music Recording (DAWs, Audio interfaces, Digital Audio Recorders, ETC...), Music (Sheet Music, Methods, ETC...), and Accessories for each category. I also have years of experience with both our superior lesson program and our band and orchestra rent-to-own program. We also have a state of the art repair shop for all of your repair needs.

Music is my passion in life, and I am very lucky to be able to share that with hundreds of people every week here at Music & Arts in Germantown, MD. I enjoy helping customers with their needs, so they too can be successful in their musical journey. Please come visit our store, and we will be sure to point you in the right direction. Thank you, and I look forward to meeting you!
