Areas of Instruction
Viola, Violin, Cello
Heather Dice began playing the violin when she was nine years old, and learned to play viola, cello, and bass in college. She has a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from West Chester University. Heather will graduate from the same university with her Masters in Music Education and Performance in May of 2018. She taught public school orchestra in Robeson County, North Carolina for three years. Heather has performed at the Kimmel Center, Kennedy Center, and Carnegie Hall. As a private lessons teacher, Heather uses goal sheets customized to every student, so all students know what and how to practice during the week. Students taught by Heather receive a well-rounded education in practice techniques, music theory, and music composition, allowing them to gain strength in more than one musical area. Heather teaches all ages and ability levels on the violin and viola, and up to intermediate cello players.
