Jared Marble is currently working towards bachelor’s degrees in both music education and saxophone performance at the University of Missouri Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance. He was born and raised in Dallas, Texas where he initially studied saxophone, being ranked as the first chair player in the state during high school. Jared came to UMKC with scholarships due to past achievements and made the top performing ensemble at the university his freshman year. He has performed with this ensemble, the Conservatory Wind Symphony every year he has attended as an undergraduate. Jared has also performed with the Southpaw Saxophone Quartet which was ranked second in the nation in a country-wide competition. As a soloist, Jared has held numerous public performances as well as a public solo recital. Currently, Jared is working to compete in the North American Saxophone Alliance soloist and quartet competition as well as the Vandoren Emerging Artist competition.
