About Me

My love for music started in the 4th grade when I first picked up the alto saxophone. I continued to play through middle school and in high school I was introduced to something that would completely change my life, marching band. I started off as a saxophone player in marching band, and then my junior year I was asked if I wanted to give tuba a shot. I gladly took on the challenge, and it was a great decision. From there I decided I would tryout for Drum Corps International and I ended up marching 5 years total with two different corps, Pioneer and Boston Crusaders. My music education didn't just stop there either, I atteneded North Park University in Chicago where I received my Bachelors degree in music business. I was able to continue playing both saxophone and tuba in the many ensembles I was in at the university. Through those four years I also continued to march in drum corps and started teaching high school marching band. I have taught over the last six years with a couple high school groups from Wisconsin, Illinois and Missouri as both a visual and music instructor.

I started in January 2019 with Music and Arts and have enjoyed every second of it. I enjoy helping people pick whats right for them, being able to see their happiness when they have the right instrument brings joy to me. Come on in and check out what we have to offer. I am both the woodwind and brass expert and I would be happy to help you with anything you need!
