In the summers, Kathryn has attended music festivals including Kneisel Hall, The Heifetz International Music Institute, and the Pinchas Zukerman Young Artists Program as well as having taught for three consecutive summers at the IU Summer String Academy as Grigory Kalinovsky’s assistant.  Having participated in the orchestra program at IU, Kathryn played in and worked as the manager of the Philharmonic Orchestra during her senior year. She then went on this past academic year to serve as the orchestra manager of all five of the IU orchestras under the supervision of Thomas Wieligman, administrator of instrumental ensembles. Most recently, Kathryn worked at the Aspen Music Festival and School this summer as the Orchestra Manager of the Aspen Contemporary Ensemble and the Aspen Opera Center Orchestra.
