Electric Bass, Electric and Acoustic Guitar
Guitar, Bass Guitar
I got my first eletric guitar at the age of 10 and havent looked back since. I would spend the next 12 years woodshedding it up in my bedroom between school hours learning to play by ear to my favorite rock records. I remained primarily self taught until 2007 when i was hired to work retail for DnD Music, in Cheapeake VA. It was here i was offered the formal training and necessary education required to began professionally teaching guitar. Over the next 10 years, we maintained a close-knit albeit diverse group of instructors who regularly met to share ideas and teaching experiences. This proved invaluable as i was able to furthur my knowledge and experience of other stringed instruments (Bass, Ukelele) as well as other styles of guitar (Classical, Jazz, Fingerstyle). Around the same time i began teaching, I began performing live professionally and continue to this day mainly as a solo acoustic singer with the occasional duo/trio/full band shows from time to time. When I am not performing or teaching i enjoy recording/engineering audio as i have equal experience there also having done session work in the studio for other artists. Music is my number one passion in life and i am always happy to share with others the joy and fulfillment it continues to bring me.
