About Morgan Elliott
In 2012, I graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Communication and a Minor in Music. Throughout my college years, I taught violin lessons within the community and performed with string quartets. During my time in school, I discovered how much I enjoy the studio recording process. I have recorded string parts for various colleagues and continue to do so now. I also played frequently with my church's musical worship band while in college.
In the Fall of 2013, I was appointed as Associate Concertmaster of the Williamson County Symphony Orchestra. It is always a pleasure to bring fantastic free concerts each season to the local public audiences of Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park and Hutto. Each student I work with has a unique learning style which allows me to give each person a very customized lesson experience. During the summer of 2015, I completed the teacher training program for Suzuki Violin. I am now a registered teacher in "Every Child Can!" and Suzuki Violin Book One. Other teaching methods I am familiar with include Essential Elements for Strings, Solos for Young Violinists, You Can Teach Yourself Fiddling, Essential Scales and Studies for Violin, Carl Flesch Scale System, Kreutzer 42 Studies for Violin, etc. Sometimes it is best to blend more than one method together to create a unique and personalized lesson curriculum.
Teaching has brought me indescribable joy in seeing my students progress and improve their musical skills each week! I look forward to helping you discover your musical talent!
