Norman's Teaching Philosophy
"A student who desires to learn to play a musical instrument enters into a unique form of discipline and learns a new language, the language of music. In these two avenues, the teacher must motivate, teach, and guide the student to grow and develop the understanding of the instrument and the knowledge of the music. This is supported by the teacher setting the example of self respect, parience, and dependability. These attributes cultivate a strong rapport with the student and parents."
