An active visual artist, published author, composer and musician from North Bend, Washington; Bob Antone has been active in the area since his first public performance in 1989.
With a family history in Seattle since 1888, he is a known collector of obscure Pacific Northwest music. Having attended Cornish College of the Arts, Evergreen and Muckleshoot Tribal College, he brings a diverse array of knowledge. From traditional Salish language and culture to the music and storytelling of Hmong immigrants to the Snoqualmie Valley, Bob incorporates a deep understanding of history and heritage into everything he does.
Over the years he has performed and collaborated with Lori Goldston - cello (Nirvana Unplugged), Christopher Thorn (Blind Melon), Roger Fischer (Heart), Skerik, Green Apple Quick Step, Kevtone Guess (drummer for Camper Van Beethoven and Cracker), Swil Kanim (Lummi Native American violinist), Steve Thoreson (internationally known Opera singer), Eric Friesen (Friesenburg Concertos), Smithsonian Institute Recognized singing logger "Hank Nelson" of Alaska, among others...
Bob has performed at hundreds of local venues throughout the Puget Sound including wineries, restaurants, theaters, community and education centers...
He encourages exploration in Jazz, Classical and Folk violin styles as well guitar, ukulele and mandolin.
As a proud father of three children and a grandfather of two, he enjoys time with family as well playing music with his two sons Hayden and Parker Antone.
