About Sarah Alonzo

Sarah Alonzo is currently a Master’s in Music in Choral Conducting candidate for graduation in the Spring of 2018 from Azusa Pacific University. Growing up in Southern California, she has always been surrounded by music. Through her high school education at Bishop Amat, she excelled in her music studies and proceeded to attend the University of La Verne where she earned her B.A. in Music in January 2016 with her emphasis in Vocal Performance. She currently sings in various choirs during her studies at APU, including her positions as the Graduate Assistant Conductor to the Bel Canto Women’s Choir and the Oratorio Choir. Outside of APU, she is a member of the Mountainside Master Chorale and is a regular guest singer with the ULV Chamber Singers.
Ms. Alonzo is an international conductor and is gaining recognition throughout Southern California. She works as the Founder and Co-Director to St. Louise de Marillac’s Summer Music Camp where she teaches keyboard, recorder, voice, and arts and crafts. She uses her musical background to provide a high quality experience for every student and caters to their style of learning. She is excited to be in the Music & Arts Center family!
