Violist, Tiffany Laraia graduated from New England Conservatory in May 2016. In 2011-2012 she studied with Marvin Moon of the Philadelphia Orchestra under scholarship through Settlement Music School in Philadelphia. In 2012, she was a semi-finalist in the junior division of the 15th Annual Sphinx Competition. Tiffany was also a member of the Temple University Music Preparatory Honors Quartet and appeared on NPR’s radio show From the Top. She has attended Bowdoin International Music Festival and Eastern Music Festival where she was the winner of their concerto competition in 2012. Tiffany attended Juilliard for 2 years studying with Toby Appel. She performed twice in Carnegie Hall and has worked under the baton of Itzhak Perlman, Alan Gilbert, Bernard Haitink, Michael Tilson Thomas, Matthias Pintscher and many more with the Juilliard Orchestra. Also, she performed under James Levine with the Juilliard Orchestra in a performance that teamed with the Metropolitan Opera’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program. Tiffany has played for great musicians such as Robert Vernon, Dimitri Murrath, Carol Rodland, and Earl Carlyss.
