About Victoria Cortazzo

Victoria Cortazzo is a native of Northern Virginia, where she grew up playing piano and French horn. On piano, she has accompanied entrants during Solo and Ensemble Festivals in Northern Virginia Public Schools and has worked as a freelance pianist at a hotel dessert bar. Cortazzo has been teaching private piano lessons for three and a half years and enjoys instilling a love for music in each of her students. On French horn, Cortazzo participated in ensembles such as the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, Brass of Peace Scholarship Program, Atlantic Brass Quintet Seminar, and All-State band. Cortazzo was accepted to both Louisiana State University and University of Cincinnati Conservatory of Music for French horn performance in 2011, however, changed course and attended Western Kentucky University, receiving a B.F.A. in Graphic Design in 2017. Currently, Cortazzo is pursuing an Artist Diploma for French horn performance at Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C..
