About Bill

Music, both piano and organ, is a big part of my life, and I enjoy sharing all aspects with students of all ages and players alike. I began playing at age twelve, with lessons until I was seventeen.  I then studied piano and jazz at Berklee College of Music in Boston.  While there, one of my roommates was Kevin Eubanks of the Jay Leno Tonight Show.

I created, promoted, and performed at the FIRST ANNUAL PHILADELPHIA JAZZ ORGAN FESTIVAL, featuring Tony Monaco.  One of the highlights was having the world's foremost jazz organist, Joey DeFrancesco, tell me "You play great!". I also did my share of teaching and time on the road with commercial bands playing both piano and organ.  I've lived and performed in Atlantic City, Boston, Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas, Houston among other towns.  But, I wound up back in the Delaware Valley to raise a family.

I have played cruise ships and have also worked for HAMMOND ORGAN COMPANY, Chicago, as a concert artist product specialist.  This included traveling the country doing concerts, organ demonstrations, and working with the dealer sales force on how to enhance and better incorporate their demonstration techniques used with the sales pitch.

Now I'm performing locally and sharing what I've accumulated, and helping others learn and enhance their playing, their appreciation, and understanding of music.  And I'm fortunate now to still be able to occasionally perform live on both piano and organ with some of the best players on the planet.

Each lesson, from ages four through adult, is part of a personalized plan to guide you, step by step, toward your goals.  I am here to help, to share my knowledge and experience with you.  And you and your family will enjoy seeing you learn to play and appreciate music, along with the benefits it brings to you.  And we'll have fun too!
