About William Tiger Fitzhugh
William Tiger Fitzhugh has been teaching guitar in the Nashville area since 1983. He has a masters degree in Classical Guitar Performance from Austin Peay State University, and studied at Berklee College of Music for 3 years. He is equally at ease with 7 year olds and retired senior citizens. He teaches all levels including beginners, and specializes in teaching classical or jazz guitar to more advanced students as well. He also teaches at Volunteer State Community College, Tennessee State University and Cumberland University. He has performed in all types of situations - solo guitar, rock, jazz, and country bands, musical theater, symphonies, and with The Vintage Mandolin Quartet.
