Zoe Vandermeer is a prize-winning graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, is on the Roster of the Connecticut Commission of Culture and Tourism, and performs internationally. Her Carnegie Hall debut took place in October 2014 as First Place Winner of the B. Alexander International Vocal Competition. Ms. Vandermeer is an opera singer, singer/songwriter, speaker, music director, pianist, harpist, composer, and media producer, and has been training voices for over two decades. Ms. Vandermeer has given presentations on Voice for the CMEA Convention Hartford, Hartt School Summer Musical Theatre Institute, IRS Sacramento, Channel 13 TV Walnut Creek, Network for Youth Development, Meridian Deployment, and numerous choirs. She is a recipient of the Dame Joan Sutherland Fund, Hartt School Faculty Development Fund, and MTNA Foundation Grant Fun d. She has been music director for the Rhinebeck Performing Arts Center, TheatreWorks, Dublin Children's Theatre, Alameda Children's Musical Theatre, Santa Barbara Montessori School, St. Johns Episcopal Church, and Nova Youth Singers.
