Previously B & B Music and Sound

Music is what we live and breathe here at Music & Arts. Since 1952, we’ve been on a mission to get the world excited about music. We’re the nation’s most trusted music store, offering name brand instrument and music accessory sales, rentals, repairs, a massive assortment of books and sheet music, and the best music lessons around. Stop by and see us today! We’re excited to meet you!

Music & Arts is proud to continue the local legacy of B & B Music with phenomenal music lessons, instrument sales, and more! You can find us on Willie Rd just off of Coastal Highway 1. We’re in the same neighborhood as Lewes’ Pot Hook Creek and the Junction and Breakwater Trail.

From instrument repairs to group music lessons, we serve the wonderful community of Lewes, DE and the surrounding areas of Milton, Arabian Acres, Herbeson, Andersons Corner, Hollyville, Angolia, Lochwood, Zoar, Marshtown, Dewey Beach, Rehoboth Beach, West Rehoboth, Aspen Meadows, Belltown, Jimtown, and Nassau.

Even the most talented musician can’t be their best on stage when their instrument isn’t working the way it should. Luckily, our expert instrument repair and maintenance team can handle any problem facing your instrument, whether you’ve got a tuba with finicky valves or a cracked acoustic guitar. Just drop your instrument off with us and we’ll have it working like new in no time!

Are you a social learner in need of a fun new challenge? Check out our group music lessons! You’ll learn an instrument like the guitar, bass, or ukulele in the company of friends, family, or coworkers! Group lessons are unique and highly beneficial because students learn as much through interacting with their peers as they do from watching their instructor. Ask one of our friendly sales associates for more details today!

If you’re from Lewes, you probably already know that this was the first town formed in America’s first state. Do the musical performances you see at the Lewes Oktoberfest get you excited every year? If so, consider taking some private music lessons taught here in our store! Whether you want to shred on the electric guitar or read music for the clarinet, our university-trained staff can help. All ages, musical interests, and experience levels accepted.

Every year, talented Delaware musicians perform at the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand. We’re here to be a reliable resource to musicians of every experience level whether they’re from right here in town or are stopping by on a national tour. From our incredible instrument repair and maintenance team to loads of music accessories like strings, reeds, cases, and stands, we’re here to help musicians be their very best.

With hundreds of locations across America, we’re now the nation’s leading provider of private music lessons, instrument sales, rentals, and repairs, but we didn’t always used to be so big. The first Music & Arts store was operated out of a humble Bethesda, Maryland home back in 1952. Our remarkable story of growth has everything to do with our steadfast commitment to values and the unshakable relationships we’ve formed students, parents, music educators, and musicians over the years.
