With the arrival of winter, we have reached the point of the year where you should be using a humidifer for your wooden instruments. Keeping your wooden instrument properly humidified will protect the instrument from cracking, warpping, and other various problems from being too dry.
While wooden instruments need to be humidified, be sure to not over do it. The humidity of the air around the instrument/in the case, should be between 40% and 60%.
